WORK AT HEIGHTS TRAINING – Full or Refresher Training

Falls are the number one killer in the construction industry and employers could face grave legal consequences for non-compliance in training employees for their health and safety.

Construction Regulation 26.2 states:

β€œAn employer shall ensure that a worker who may use a fall protection system is adequately trained in its use and given adequate oral and written instructions by a competent person.”

Since April 1, 2015 legal provisions require employers in Ontario, to have their employees in the Construction Industry complete a working at heights training program, which has been approved by the chief prevention officer of Ontario (CPO). This training does NOT replace workplace specific fall protection training.

Employers MUST complete an approved working at heights training program for their workforces. AMSC Inc. has partnered with safety firms such as the IHSA (Infrastructure Health & Safety Association) to deliver the WORK AT HEIGHTS training program.

This WAH (Work at Heights) instruction is provided by our instructors at a location of your preference and includes all fall protection gear, study material, tests and video support. Our years of experience in fall protection setup scenarios and in case histories of accidents involving falls is utilized for your benefit.
