·        Employer, Supplier, Supervisor & Worker responsibilities

·        Construction Regulations, 143-149 & Manufacturer instructions

·        EWP Types & selection

·        EWP Inspections – Annual Maintenance & Daily pre-use

·        Basic hazards – Stability, tipping over, operational & work environment

·        EWP Operation – Safe practices & procedures

·        Hand-on demonstration on EWP/Aerial Boom type platform – Inspections, Manufacturer Instructions, Annual maintenance, Prof. Engineer conformance letter, operational controls & skills, Review of emergency shut down and lowering (Refer to attached pdf for EWP make & model Info)

·        Written exam – participants that achieve a minimum 80% score on the written test & demonstrate proficiency in operating a EWP during the hands-on demonstration, will receive a course completion card as evidence of this training
