Confined Spaces
CONFINED SPACE WORK SAFETY AWARENESS & TRAINING
Strict duties have now been placed on employers to safely plan, organize and implement Confined Space Work based on recent amendments to Ontario’s Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations. Ontario law requires employers to provide their employees with the instruction and training necessary for their health and safety. Supervisors must be able to effectively conduct a hazard analysis of confined space work to be done and develop safe work procedures to ensure the health and safety of workers.
